The young Khione, a priestess of Hibernia, is taken prisoner before the king. She possesses something very valuable that the king needs to maintain his power. However, in exchange for handing it over, Khione imposes a condition on the king.

Captain Dasheth takes on the difficult task of mediating between the monarch and Khione, but an unexpected event between the captain and the young prisoner puts both their safety at risk.
